Trauma-informed schools

'Handle with care' - Trauma can undermine a child's ability to learn, form relationships and function appropriately in the classroom. A trauma informed school helps children and young people feel safe to learn.

The pedagogy underpinning EmBRACE is trauma-informed.

EmBRACE (Emotionally and Brain Resilient to Adverse Childhood Experiences) is a management and leadership model that I have developed and implement when working with schools to change culture and become trauma-informed.
