One Day At A Time - Book Launch

Rebecca Andrew-Crowe‏ Twitter May 2018: @Rebecca_A_Crowe May 7 Thrilled to have @SueIrwin_links supporting the launch of #OneDayAtATime for #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth @SelfPublishBath #Hope #MentalHealthMonth #Anxiety

I was thrilled to have been invited to Rebecca Andrew-Crowe's Book Launch for 'One Day At A Time'.

The evening was such a special event. One very brave lady presented her book and talked about her own mental health. Through raising awareness about mental health and telling her own story, Rebecca wants to be able to bring hope to those who are suffering.

There was no self-pity at all, quite the opposite. Rebecca spoke with passion about the book which has been written to inspire hope. The powerful words 'It's OK not to be OK' do give hope to those who are in pain, particularly when it isn't always know how to cope or manage things. Rebecca's vision to help each others is inspirational. One week after the launch over 1000 books have been sold, resulting in £10, 000 being raised for the 'Hope Rooms' which Rebecca has set up.

Not only does the book help others, who maybe suffering to recognise that there is Hope, but it also addresses some very important issues around Mental Health and raises questions that are often not addressed.

Let's support Rebecca's work by firstly reading the book (find it on Amazon)! Secondly by sharing it with or telling others who may need to hear the messages. Thirdly, start to openly talk about mental health and eradicate the stigma associated with it.

The London launch of 'One Day At A Time' is on Wednesday 16th May, which I know will be a huge success.
